Who We Are
Emergency Physician Consultants is dedicated to providing the most qualified physician experts to consult on a variety of medical/legal issues. EPC specializes in cases that involve emergency medical care including adult and pediatric patients, medical and trauma cases, physician and emergency department personnel, prehospital providers including paramedics and EMT's, law enforcement personnel, and more. We emphasize comprehensive, impartial, evidence based case review and testimony.
Each of our consultants is a practicing ER physician, board certified in emergency medicine and licensed in California. EPC specialists work and are licensed in additional states across the country, including Oregon, Washington, North Carolina, and Florida.

Marc Cohen, MD FAEMS has worked as an expert reviewer and medical consultant with the Medical Board of California since 2008. He has consulted and testified on cases involving trauma, obstetric, and pediatric patients, physician misconduct, and more. As the Fire Department Medical Director for cities of Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Torrance, Manhattan Beach, and El Segundo, California, he has expertise in prehospital, EMS, and paramedic medicine as well. In addition to his regular practice in a local trauma center, he is also a clinical adjunct faculty member with USC.

Timothy Janchar, MD, MFA is board certified in emergency medicine and licensed in California, Oregon, and Washington. His practice is based in Oregon where he is the director of emergency medicine resident education at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland. In addition to teaching, he has a focus in artistic systems and strategies in trauma and emergency medicine.

Ryan Lamb, MD has been involved as a Medical Director and QA director and has had an increasing emphasis in Operations including lean processing. Dr. Lamb has directed Emergency Department Optimization programs, with successful implementations at multiple sites showing success such as 60% reduction in door to provider times and 67% reduction in LWBS rates. He is currently engaged in strategizing throughput design for several emergency departments within a large hospital system. In addition, he is consulting with start up companies who can benefit from understanding physician and staff workflow process and culture to optimize success with their products.

Dr. Christian McClung, MD, MPhil is a clinical assistant professor of molecular microbiology and immunology at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and a former assistant professor of Emergency Medicine at USC. He has twice received the young investigator award from the American Heart Association for research in resuscitation and trauma care. He is the director of education at Palomar Medical Center emergency department in Escondido, CA and director of emergency medicine simulation training at Providence Little Company of Mary in Torrance, CA. In addition to his practice at a San Diego county trauma center, he is also the statistical reviewer and editor for several academic journals.

Rehema Feleke, MD is board certified in both emergency medicine and pediatric emergency medicine. In her role of director of pediatric emergency services, she has been involved in numerous pediatric case reviews.
